How To Stop Period Pain Naturally Or With Drugs

Working as a pharmacist I seldom face girls crying with pain coming from menstruation. You can feel the pain they are feeling as you see them cry. You can see for yourselves that this has to be extremely painful. It is clear that almost all girls feel a little pain during period. But for some the pain is unbearable.

Now this crushing pain which is called dysmenorrhea in medicine has two types. One is a menstrual pain that is attributed to some underlying disease or structural abnormality, either within or outside of the uterus. And the other happens to ordinary girls with no known problem of uterus or pelvic organs. I leave the diagnosis for the physicians.

Then I will give them Ibuprofen 400mg to be taken twice or three times a day according to the intensity of the pain. The other alternate drug I will give them is Diclofenac 50 mg three times a day and if it is 100 mg they are going to take it only once daily. Most of the time the 100mg comes with a delayed release coating so it shouldn't be crushed when swallowing. These drugs being Non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs, Both of them shouldn't be given to a gastric patient. Or if the patient has mild gastric disease, she may take it with meal. I usually give only these drugs though there are also other choices. And most of the time it this stops period pain. But the problem is that they are not cured from it. Month after month this condition brings big discomfort and there is no way that they can get rid of it. But there is a way you can be cured from it naturally which you can find it HERE.
